Right Notes summer 1The programme included a menagerie of animal songs, including Flanders and Swann’s The Hippopotamus; a trilogy of pieces made famous by The Monkees (with one item sung as a duet by our two youngest members); the Military Wives’ Choir anthem Sing; songs from the movies including Moon River and Raindrops Keep Falling on My Head; and ABBA’s Thank You for the Music. Our resident father and son sang Cat Stevens’ piece on the subject, while Stephen Schwartz’s When You Believe was performed by two of our younger singers.

Right Notes Summer 3The choir’s next concert will be on Wednesday December 10th, at 7.30 pm at St Edward’s Church in Royal George Road, Burgess Hill; admission £5 (under 16s free).
